As I said, I am especially interested in the wellbeing of the elderly so this is one of my favourite cases. There was nothing specifically “wrong” with Cyril. He just felt stiff on rising and generally out of sorts. Full of aches and pains. His long suffering wife sent him to me as a last resort, hoping for the best. At 84, Cyril isn’t “cured” but he feels 100% better in himself. He says he feels ”smoother.” His only complaint is that he hates drinking the water that is required after a Bowen and would really prefer an ale.
Chris aged 70
Back pain – 3 treatments
Chris is generally fit and well for a 70 year old but had pain in his lower back. He described the pain level as 8/10. Chris is a very keen golfer trying to keep his handicap in single figures so was extremely interested to try this new treatment. After his first Bowen, his back hurt for two days and then eased dramatically. He wanted to “cement” the cure so returned for 2 more treatments.

Rosemary aged 61
Shoulder pain – 2 treatments
Rosemary is a keen tennis and golf player and loves her sport. Unfortunately, shoulder pain and immobility caused her to stop playing both sports. She described her pain level as 7/10. There was some improvement after her first Bowen but after the second she was in a lot of pain immediately after the treatment. However, the next day she woke and the pain had totally gone and has not returned despite lots of golf and tennis! She phoned me to say she was thrilled to be back on court again.

Margaret aged 26
Twisted pelvis and lower back pain – 3 treatments
Margaret had a fall while jogging a number of years ago and as a result suffered a twisted pelvis resulting in lower back pain. She described her back as feeling ‘sore and weak especially after standing a long time. Her workmate recommended that she come to me for a Bowen and she was pleasantly surprised how relaxing and effective her treatment was. She now only comes for a Bowen when she feels she needs a "Top up."
Hugo aged 6 weeks
Colic – 2 treatments
Hugo had very bad colic and cried when he drank his bottle and when he tried to fill his nappy or pass wind. Normally he was a very happy and contented baby. Mum described his discomfort level as 8/10. After two treatments, Hugo was feeding much better and although he still had wind, it didn’t seem to bother him. Mum described his discomfort as 0/10 and said: "Hugo is feeling so much better. I am so glad I’ve got my happy little boy back!"
